Elba Muñoz

Elba Muñoz has a diverse work experience history. In 2011, they worked as a Health Professions Advisor at California State University, Los Angeles. In this role, they provided guidance and support to students in their pre-professional career planning. Elba'svision for the program is to recruit rising nurse professionals aligned with AltaMed's mission and provide them with the necessary support and resources for professional growth and leadership development. The aim is for these nurse leaders to then join the healthcare workforce and contribute to improving healthcare for all while serving as role models for aspiring healthcare professionals.

Elba Muñoz obtained a Master's degree in Sociology, with an Emphasis in Community College Teaching, from California State University, Los Angeles in 2009. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree at the same university in 2003, but the specific field of study for their undergraduate degree was not provided.
