Erick Leyva

Erick Leyva has a diverse work experience spanning several organizations. Erick started their career as an Immigrant's Right Intern at ACLU SoCal in 2012. Erick then interned as a Community Engagement and Advocacy Intern at Latino Health Access from 2014 to 2015. In 2016, they worked as a Research Assistant at the Center for the Study of Latino Health and Culture at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. Starting in 2017, they became a Project Manager at Pre-Health Dreamers until 2019. Currently, they are employed at AltaMed Health Services, where they initially worked as an Undergraduate Medical Education Coordinator from 2019 to 2023. Erick has now transitioned into the role of Senior Coordinator in the Office of the COO.

Erick Leyva obtained an Associate's degree from Santa Ana College from 2010 to 2013, followed by a Bachelor's degree from UCLA from 2013 to 2016. The field of study for both degrees is not specified.
