Jonathan Kan

Jonathan Kan has a diverse work experience in the software development field. Jonathan began their career as an Intern - Business Analyst at DIRECTV in 2007, where they worked on gathering user requirements and conducting functional testing. In 2008, they worked as an Intern - Software Developer at MSC Software, where they developed a Java tool for automating regression tests. Jonathan then joined Infosys Technologies Ltd in 2009 as a Senior Software Developer, where they led a team of QA engineers and achieved project deadlines through automation.

In 2013, Jonathan joined SynerMed as a Product Owner, responsible for managing IT projects and collaborating with stakeholders to prioritize business goals. Jonathan later became a Software Development Manager, overseeing agile teams and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products. From 2016 to 2018, Jonathan served as the Director of Software Development at SynerMed, where they managed two agile teams and led design, engineering, and quality assurance efforts.

Their most recent position was Director of Software Development at AltaMed Health Services, where they were responsible for developing AltaMed CONNECT, a suite of web applications for managed healthcare. Jonathan successfully led the transition and launch of a new referrals suite and worked on integrating with Epic EMR. Throughout their career, Jonathan has demonstrated strong leadership skills, project management expertise, and a commitment to delivering efficient and high-quality software solutions.

Jonathan Kan obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from UC Irvine, where they studied from 2005 to 2008.
