Maria Sanchez

Maria Sanchez has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Maria started their career at Health Care Talent serving Altamed as a Caregiver Coordinator from January 2009 to December 2012. Maria then worked at Exodus Recovery Inc and held multiple roles, including Discharge Planner from July 2022 onwards, Program Coordinator / Interpreter from January 2013 onwards, and Program Coordinator from February 2013 onwards. In 2019, Maria joined Royale Healthcare as a Mental Health Worker and worked there until March 2023. Currently, they are employed as a Community Health Specialist at AltaMed Health Services, starting in January 2023.

Maria Sanchez has a diverse educational background. Maria received a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration and Management from Keiser University in 2021. Prior to that, in 2013, they completed a program at Roosevelt Garfield - Eastside Learning Center, earning a degree in General Clerk Office Assistant with a focus on Accounting. In 2008, Maria completed their Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree in International Relations and Affairs from Unival Nicaragua. Maria also studied English at Cerritos College from 2004 to 2008, with a focus on Teaching English as a Second or Foreign Language. Maria started their education journey at Coast Rica Jobs, where they studied Law and Criminology from 1998 to 2003.

In addition to their formal education, Maria has obtained various certifications. Maria received a Certificate of Completion of the Greatness Leadership Initiative from Keiser University in 2020. Maria also holds certifications in CPR/AED/First Aid from the American Heart Association, Accident Prevention and Management from Relias, and Business Research from CITI Program. Other certifications include Customer Service Essential, HIPPA Do's and Don'ts: Electronic Communication and Social Media, Hand Hygiene: The Basics, and Cultural Competence from Relias.

Furthermore, Maria is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Health Services Administration from Keiser University, expected to be completed in 2022. Maria has also obtained a Training Certificate in Mental Health and Case Management from DMH+UCLA, although the specific years of completion are unknown.
