Thomas Kim

Thomas Kim currently serves as the Associate Chief Value Officer and Medical Director of Hospitalist and Post-Acute Care Services at AltaMed Health Services since April 2019. Previously, Thomas held the position of Senior Vice President of Medical Affairs for the Western Region at Genesis HealthCare from May 2016 to March 2019 and served as Medical Director at Fountain Care Skilled Nursing Center from September 2014 to April 2016. Thomas also has extensive experience at Pulmonary Consultants and Primary Care, where various roles included Medical Director for Hospitalist/SNF services and Medical Director of Case Management for St. Joseph Hospital. Earlier in Thomas's career, notable positions included Hospitalist at Kaiser Permanente and Trustee Assistant at Bankers Trust. Thomas holds an M.D. from the Keck School of Medicine of USC and completed an Internal Medicine residency at UC San Diego, along with a Bachelor of Science in Biology from UC Irvine.
