David Crane

David Crane is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in product development and management across various industries, including healthcare and technology. Currently serving as the Director of Product Development at AltaML since February 2022, David is focused on creating AI-backed ventures. Previous roles include Director of Product at Highmark Interactive, where responsibilities included developing product strategy and managing development teams, and Senior Product Manager at both Highmark Interactive and Focal Healthcare, where David successfully brought products to market and managed product roadmaps. Earlier career experiences involve project management and research engineering roles at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre and teaching in the Neuroscience department at the University of Toronto. David holds a BASc in Systems Design Engineering from the University of Waterloo and an MSc in Neuroscience from McGill University.
