Oliver Lean

Oliver Lean is a UK-born data scientist with a PhD in philosophy and over four years of experience in advanced research and machine learning. They served as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Calgary from 2016 to 2018, where they engaged in international research collaborations and organized academic events. They have published articles in top international journals during their postdoctoral tenure at Université catholique de Louvain from 2019 to 2020, while developing technical skills in Python and topic modeling. Currently, Oliver is a Senior Machine Learning Developer at AltaML, where they are involved in the development of machine learning solutions. Additionally, Oliver holds a Diploma in Data Science from Lighthouse Labs and prior degrees from the University of Bristol, including a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and a Master of Arts in Philosophy and History of Science.
