Iyette Abdi has work experience across multiple companies and roles. In 2019, they worked as a summer intern at Laboratoire central d'analyses et d'essais. In 2020, they had another summer internship at Institut Pasteur de Tunis. In 2021, they worked as an intern at CBMN and also started working as an Ingénieure d’études at Université de Bordeaux, a position they held until January 2023. Starting from April 2023, they assumed the role of Business Developer at Altaroad.
Iyette Abdi pursued their education starting in 2016 at INSAT - Institut National des Sciences Appliquées et de Technologie. Iyette studied biologie industrielle and completed their Diploma d'ingénieur in 2021. In 2023, they enrolled in INSEEC MSc and obtained a Master en Management de Projet et Ingénierie Commerciale, specializing in Management de projet, in 2024.

Leveraging a network of patented nano-sensors embedded in roads and algorithms developed at IFSTTAR and the Ecole Polytechnique, ALTAROAD offers a real-time analysis of data allowing to measure the footprint or the weight of a specific vehicle, to control traffic management in the smart city, to identify areas of the infrastructure to bemaintained, or to quickly detect risk situations (icy pavement, countersense driving, feedback to autonomous vehicles)
