Based in Tbilisi, Georgia, the Alte Students Research Unit is a dynamic team of 16 dedicated students from the Alte International School of Medicine. Our mission is to foster a culture of research and innovation within the medical community. We organize medical conferences and workshops, creating platforms for knowledge exchange and collaboration.

The Alte Student Research Unit emerged from an idea proposed on October 10th, 2022, by Rushikesh Rajesh Patil and Debleena Chand as co-founders of Research Unit, with unwavering dedication and the invaluable support of Alte University's administrative team and the Dean of the International School of Medicine, Dr. Ketevan Chakhnashvili, the club was formally established on December 12th, 2022. 

The Alte Students Research Unit owes much of its success to the collaborative efforts of the university's administrative team, who provided essential venue support, and the esteemed faculty members who lent their expertise. Integral to our journey is the exceptional contribution of Yash Pradeep Dhage who played a pivotal role in laying the foundation of the Alte Students Research Unit's marketing initiatives, building the framework from scratch with the support of the university.

Highlights of our activities include the successful execution of two major conferences at Alte University: the International Multidisciplinary Alte University Conference (IMAUC) 2023 and IMAUC 2024. These events brought together aspiring medical professionals and experts to discuss the latest advancements in medicine.
