Derron Lyn, P.Eng. is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in systems engineering and leadership roles. Currently serving as a Sr. Systems Engineer at ALTEN since July 2024, Derron previously held the position of Senior Engineer II at Motional from August 2020 to June 2024. Prior engineering roles include Sub-System Lead Engineer at General Motors, Senior System Engineer and Team Lead at Thales Rail Signalling Solutions, and various positions at Alcatel Transport Automation Systems and Celestica. Derron holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from Ryerson University, along with an Electronic Technologist diploma from Sheridan College.
