Mathilde Morel is an experienced professional in the field of engineering and research, currently serving as an Ingénieur d’études at ALTEN since October 2022. Prior to this role, Mathilde worked as a Research/Development Engineer at AlgoSolis R&D Facility, focusing on the production of ethanol from microalgae and developing experimental plans and protocols. Additional experience includes a stint as an Assistant Brewer at Les Brassés, where Mathilde developed new beer recipes and maintained fermenters, as well as tutoring first-year university students in physics, mathematics, neurology, and physiology at the University of Nice Sophia Antipolis. Mathilde holds a Master’s Degree in Microalgae Bioprocess Engineering from Polytech Nantes and a Process and Bioprocess Engineering Degree from the same institution, complemented by a two-year university degree in Biochemistry from Université Côte d'Azur.
