Suzanne Borg

Suzanne Borg has extensive work experience in the field of IT. Suzanne is currently the Head of Corporate IT at Altenar since January 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Ixaris from 2012 to 2022, where they held various roles including Head of IT Services & Information Security, Head of IT Services, IT Team Lead, Support and Systems Engineer, and Support and Systems Administrator. Before joining Ixaris, Suzanne worked as an IT Technician at Malta International Airport plc from 2009 to 2012. Suzanne also has experience as an ICT Support during a summer work at Enemalta from 2007 to 2008 and as a Secretary at B.B Associates Ltd from 2005 to 2007.

Suzanne Borg has a diverse education history in the field of computer networks and ICT support. Suzanne began their education in 2005 with the completion of a BTEC National Diploma in Computing at MCAST, focusing on hardware and networking. Suzanne then pursued a BTEC Higher National Diploma in ICT from 2007 to 2009 at MCAST, specializing in networking and ICT support.

In 2009, Suzanne embarked on a BSc (Honours) in Computer Networks at MCAST in collaboration with Fraunhofer IAO Germany, further deepening their knowledge and skills in this field. During this time, they obtained the Oracle Certified Associate (OCA) certification for Oracle Database 10g: Administration and Oracle Database SQL Certified Expert exams.

Continuing their professional development, Suzanne obtained several certifications in the following years. In 2008, they became a Microsoft Certified System Administrator (MCSA) and a Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) for Installing, Configuring, and Administering Microsoft Windows XP Professional. In 2014, they completed the SharePoint Server 2013 certification from Core Solutions of Microsoft SharePoint Server 2013.

Furthermore, Suzanne acquired the ITIL foundation course certification from PEOPLECERT in 2017. Their commitment to staying up-to-date with industry standards and technologies is evident through their completion of the 200-120 CCNA Routing and Switching certification offered by Cisco Certified Network Associate in 2015. Recently, in 2021, they obtained a Professional Diploma in Digital Marketing from the Digital Marketing Institute.

Although there is mention of an additional certification (Exam 331: Core Solutions of Microsoft SharePoint Server 2013), the obtained month and year are not provided for this particular certification.
