Heather O'Shea has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning several companies and roles. As of December 2022, they are currently the Chief Research Officer at Alter Agents. Prior to that, they served on the Board of Directors for ARF Women in Analytics at the Advertising Research Foundation from June 2021 to December 2022. From January 2020 to December 2022, they held the role of Global Head of Ad Research & Insights at Snap Inc. Previously, they were the EVP of Advertising and Media Effectiveness at Kantar from April 2019 to January 2020, and the SVP of Research at Kantar Millward Brown from June 2017 to April 2019.

Heather also has experience at Twitter, where they served as the Global Agency Research & Data Strategy Lead from July 2014 to February 2017. Prior to that, they worked at Universal McCann as the VP Group Partner, Research from September 2011 to July 2014, where they provided consumer insights, media measurement solutions, and custom media research projects for J&J brands. Before their role at Universal McCann, they worked as a Research Supervisor from August 2009 to September 2011.

Heather's earlier roles include working as a Research Analyst at New York Magazine from June 2008 to August 2009, as a Media Analyst at Mediaedge:cia from January 2007 to June 2008, and as a New Business Intern at Kirshenbaum Bond and Partners from September 2005 to December 2006.

Heather O'Shea obtained a BBA in Marketing & Management from Pace University - Lubin School of Business in the years 2003 to 2007. Following that, they pursued an MBA in Marketing at Baruch College from 2009 to 2011. Additionally, Heather O'Shea obtained certifications in Getting and Cleaning Data and R Programming from Coursera Course Certificates in February 2017 and January 2017 respectively.
