Carmen Morillo

Carmen Morillo serves as the Head of the Medical Department at Grupo Alter since January 2020, bringing extensive experience from previous roles, including Medical Lead at AstraZeneca from June 2013 to January 2020, where responsibilities included overseeing key therapeutic areas such as respiratory, inflammation, and infectious diseases. Prior positions include Medical Affairs Associate Director and Executive Manager in Medical Affairs at Sanofi Pasteur MSD, and various roles at AstraZeneca and Schwarz Pharma focusing on oncology and clinical development. Carmen Morillo holds degrees in Medicine and Surgery from Universidad Complutense de Madrid, along with specialized training in rheumatology, preventive medicine, and clinical trial monitoring, among others.
