Alter5 is an investment platform that caters to institutional investors in the renewable energy sector, focusing on utility-scale solar and wind projects, as well as self-consumption and storage solutions. Our platform is designed to help insurers, pension funds, financial institutions, and fixed-income managers efficiently allocate capital by presenting them with curated investment opportunities that align with their specific criteria.

We collaborate with institutional investors worldwide, enabling them to directly invest in loans, bonds and equity of meticulously evaluated renewable energy projects and portfolios.

Alter5 bonds are issued through a dedicated vehicle based in Luxembourg, ensuring consistency and standardization across all investments.

In addition to facilitating investments, our platform offers a comprehensive suite of services throughout the investment process. These services include operational monitoring, financial management, evaluation of environmental, social, and governance (ESG) criteria for each investment, and robust reporting systems.

Furthermore, it is worth noting that some of our bonds are backed by a guarantee from the European Investment Fund, with whom Alter5 has established a framework agreement.

The mission of Alter5 is to accelerate the energy transition by leveraging technology and digital processes to facilitate the connection of institutional capital with investment-ready renewable energy assets at various stages of development and with different profitability ratios.
