Abdi Hussein

Abdi Hussein is an accomplished security leader with extensive experience in developing and overseeing global corporate security programs. Currently serving as the Head of Global Corporate Security at Altera since June 2025, Abdi is responsible for various aspects of security, including crisis management and risk mitigation. Previously as Director of Global Corporate Security at 10x Genomics, Abdi focused on physical security initiatives and established a security operations center. Abdi's career at BioMarin Pharmaceutical Inc. included roles as Associate Director, Sr. Manager, and Manager of Physical Security, where standards, policies, and high-tech security systems were implemented. Experience at Google as a Security Supervisor and at Guardsmark at Flextronics as an Account Manager further complements Abdi’s expertise. Abdi holds an MBA from California State University - East Bay and a Bachelor's Degree from Western Governors University.
