Amit Waghmare is currently an FPGA IP Design Engineer at Altera Semiconductor, having previously held the same position at Intel Corporation from 2021 to 2025. Prior to that, Amit worked as a Senior Engineer-I and Engineer II at Microsemi Corporation from 2019 to 2021. Amit also served as a Research Scientist at SAMEER, under the R&D of the Government of India, from 2017 to 2019. Amit earned a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Telecommunication from Babasaheb Naik College of Engineering, followed by a Master of Engineering in Electronics Digital Systems from the Maharashtra Institute of Technology.
