Assem Hussein

Assem Hussein is currently the Manager of IP Solutions Engineering at Altera Corporation, having transitioned from a SoC Design Engineer role at Intel Corporation, where they focused on external memory interface design. Assem earned a Master's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Waterloo, where their research included the design of stochastic LDPC decoders. They also served as a Research Assistant at Cairo University and a Research Associate at the University of Waterloo, contributing to notable projects in digital circuit design and mentoring students in advanced engineering topics. Their extensive experience encompasses various internships in electronics and automation, providing a strong foundation for their current engineering leadership role.
