Bill Dries

Bill Dries is currently the Computer Vision Engineering Manager at Altera, where they architect and develop innovative FPGA designs for professional video broadcast products. With extensive experience in the full FPGA/ASIC development life cycle, Bill has worked in various roles, including Senior Member of Technical Staff at Ericsson and SoC Design Engineer at Intel Corporation. They hold a 2:1 BEng Hons in Electronic Engineering from the University of Southampton, earned in 1994. Bill's expertise encompasses high-speed synchronous design techniques and a range of networking standards.
