Ed McGettigan

Ed McGettigan is the Director of Platforms & Interfaces Applications Engineering at Altera, where they lead a team focused on delivering FPGA board platforms and high-speed mixed signal RF transceiver solutions for military, aerospace, and government applications. Previously, Ed served as a System Architect at Intel Corporation, overseeing multiple director roles that involved customer applications engineering and managing engineering teams. They have extensive experience in FPGA development from their time at Xilinx Inc. and hold a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, along with a current pursuit of an Introduction to Programming Nanodegree from Udacity.
