Imran Ali, Ph.D., is a seasoned FPGA Silicon Design Micro-Architect and Technical Lead with over 16 years of research and industrial expertise in digital architectural design and development. They have contributed to more than 50 international publications, including patents and high-impact journals, reflecting their extensive knowledge in FPGA, SoC, and ASICs. Having held various roles, including SoC Design Technical Lead at Intel Corporation, they currently serve as an FPGA Silicon Design Micro-Architect/Technical Lead at Altera. Imran earned their Ph.D. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Sungkyunkwan University and holds both a Master’s and a Bachelor’s degree in the same field from the University of Engineering and Technology, Taxila.
