Johan Bernspång

Johan Bernspång is an experienced field application engineer currently working at Altera since March 2024, with a prior tenure at Intel Corporation from January 2016 to March 2024, also in that role. Johan's career features multiple positions as a field application engineer, including an earlier role at Altera from September 2012 to December 2015. Before this, Johan worked as a consultant at ÅF AB from February 2007 to September 2012, focusing on FPGA development, systemization, software design, and project management, while also gaining knowledge in mobile communication systems. Earlier experience includes serving as a research engineer at the Swedish Defence Research Agency, FOI, from June 2004 to January 2007, specializing in electronic warfare embedded systems within the radio frequency domain. Johan began the journey in FPGA design during a master thesis project at the University of Queensland from September 2003 to February 2004. Johan holds a Master of Science degree in Applied Physics and Electrical Engineering from Linköping University, completed between 1997 and 2004.
