Luis Hau

Luis Hau is an experienced FPGA Fabric Architect currently working at Altera since January 2024. Previously, Luis served in a similar role at Intel Corporation from November 2017 to December 2023. Luis began a career in hardware engineering at Oracle, where responsibilities included designing high-speed microprocessor chip families and leading the implementation of SoC designs. Early career roles at Intel included senior positions in physical design and as a rotation engineer, providing a broad technical foundation. Luis holds a Certificate in Advanced Project Management from Stanford University, a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Southern California, and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from California State University-Sacramento.
