Vikrant Kapila

Vikrant Kapila serves as Principal Engineer (Director) and Chief Architect at Altera, where they lead the development of Agilex 3 and Agilex 5 products. Previously, they held the role of Lead Performance Architect at Intel, where they led a global team of architects and developed a successful performance exploration solution for FPGA products. With a solid educational foundation in Computer Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi and a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Thapar University, Vikrant leverages their expertise to drive innovation and optimize system architecture across multiple markets. Their extensive experience includes collaborations with tier-1 data center customers and significant projects targeting AI and networking applications.
