Yaniv Sabag

Yaniv Sabag is an experienced and creative Design Team Lead at Altera, specializing in micro architecture and firmware design. With a background in the semiconductor industry, they have held roles at notable companies, including Intel Corporation, where they defined software and firmware flows for 5G and FPGA products. Yaniv began their career as a chip designer, contributing to various projects in the fields of mobile technology and RF chips from 1998 to 2012, prior to their current role at Altera, which commenced in 2025. They hold a B.Sc. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev.
