Christine John is a Behavioral Health Therapist at Alternatives Youth, working in two CPS schools in Garfield Park, Chicago since March 2023. Christine has extensive experience in mental health settings, including an internship at Khesed Wellness where responsibilities included managing a caseload of 10-15 clients. Prior to this, roles included work as a Book Seller at Tattered Cover Book Store, a Work Study Student at Denver Seminary, and a Residential Services Assistant at Opportunity In Living. An earlier position as an Elementary School Counselor at Enlightium Academy involved oversight of approximately 350 students. Christine’s foundational role as a Behavioral Specialist at Union Gospel Mission focused on providing support to children experiencing emotional challenges. Christine holds a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Denver Seminary and a Bachelor's degree in Human Services from Moody Bible Institute.
