KoriAnn Carter is an experienced professional in the field of restorative justice and social equity, currently serving as a restorative justice specialist at Alternatives since July 2023. KoriAnn founded Girls on Arise to Succeed in February 2015, focusing on fostering successful citizenship among the next generation. Previous roles include serving as a social equity program officer at The Morgan Family Foundation from June 2021 to September 2022 and as a family engagement specialist at United Way of Central Minnesota from August 2017 to May 2021. KoriAnn's work is dedicated to inspiring youth and transforming communities through innovative practices and programs.
Alternatives
Alternatives mission is to inspire young people to create a just future through practices that heal individuals, restore communities, and transform systems. We provide Restorative Justice and Behavioral Health services to young people in Chicago. Our programs and services are offered from our locations in Uptown and Washington Park and through partnerships with 50 schools and a dozen partnering youth service agencies. We envision young people, free. Free from oppression, free in their identities, and free to pursue their wildest ambitions.
