Tor Erling Nygaard

Tor Erling Nygaard has extensive experience in technical and engineering roles, currently serving as Technical Manager STB at Altibox since June 2023. As the founder of StepVision since September 2016, Tor Erling Nygaard focuses on R&D engineering for telecommunications, power solutions, and high-resolution video systems. Previous roles include Senior Product Engineer at MHWirth, where responsibilities encompassed the development of CCTV and telecom systems, and Product Engineer roles at Aker Solutions/MHWirth, handling complete system projects and hardware development. Earlier experience includes positions at Eltek AS in renewable energy, Ericsson in hardware development, AXXESSIT ASA in telecommunications hardware, and as a Specialist in avionics maintenance with the Royal Norwegian Air Force.
