Ruan Smit

Ruan Smit is an experienced technology executive currently serving as the Chief Technology Officer at Altify, responsible for overseeing the technological competency and performance of the investment platform. Prior to joining Altify in December 2023, Ruan served as Chief Technology Officer at Revix, where similar responsibilities were held from February 2020 to December 2023. Ruan has also held positions as Technical Lead at Echo Digital, CEO of a freelance development business, and Contract Software Developer at Fluid Business Solutions, along with experience as Front-End Lead Engineer at Quirk from June 2009 to April 2016. Ruan's educational background includes attending Fish Hoek Senior High School.
