Diego Nieto

Diego Nieto has worked in a variety of roles in the software industry since 1999. Diego began their career as a Systems Engineer at Sun Microsystems, Bilbao in 1999. From 2000 to 2001, they worked as a Sales Support Engineer and Consultant at Informix Software and Ascential Software, respectively. In 2021, they took on the role of Data Engineer at Tinybird.co, and in 2022 they began working as a Software Engineer at both Altinity, Inc. and Triple. Diego has also worked as a Software Engineer at CESGA.es since 2002.

Diego Nieto's education history includes a Bachelor of Science in Engineering & Computer Science from the University of Deusto, which they completed between 1994 and 1999. Diego also studied English at the Escuela Oficial de Idiomas (National School of Languages) from 1991 to 1997, achieving a C1 level. From 2004 to 2007, they completed a Postgraduate Diploma/MSc/DEA in Computer Science, data engineering and a Master of Science in Data Engineering at the Universidad de Santiago de Compostela.
