Riya Godha

Riya Godha has had a varied and successful career in software engineering and testing. In 2020, they began working as a Software Developer In Test at Altinity, Inc. Prior to that, they were a Quality Assurance Engineer at NCPL Inc. from 2017-2020, where they tested enterprise ready web portals in Education and Ecommerce Domain, prepared and executed test cases for application characteristics, and attended review meetings to receive project requirements and updated presentation via fixed bugs. From 2011-2017, they were a Test and Software Engineer at Zensar Technologies, where they were involved in testing applications on different platforms like iOS, Android and Windows 8 and Web browsers, managed applications testing utilizing manual testing techniques on PC, Web and Mobile Platform, gathered test requirements and understood project specifications for sharing the testing aspects, conducted black box testing of the applications at the executable level and white box testing of the applications at source code level to identify issues and report them to the development team, identified code level issues and communicated to stakeholders, suggested process improvements with appropriate solutions at coding level both at project level and at organizational level, created defect reports, defects trend report, process performance reports with diagrams, flow charts and screen shots, ensured identification and implementation of correct test architecture and standard for the project, performed front end and back end testing, functional, GUI, Usability, and security testing, and worked closely with developers to develop test specifications and build test cases/scripts. From 2007-2011, they were a Software Engineer at In-Solutions Global Ltd, where they were involved in designing, developing, and testing of J2EE components like Java Beans, Java, XML, Collection Framework, JSP, spring and Hibernate, used Spring/MVC framework to enable the interactions between JSP/View layer and implemented different design patterns with J2EE and XML technology, and used SOA Integration service for Data Integration Service and Functional Integration Service.

Riya Godha completed their Master of Computer Applications - MCA from Rajiv Gandhi Prodyogiki Vishwavidyalaya between 2004 and 2007, with a focus in Computer Science. Prior to that, they obtained their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Devi Ahilya Mateshwari Suganidevi Girls College, Indore between 2001 and 2004. Additionally, they have participated in the Deadlock, C&C++ Programming Contest October 2005 organized by IEEE, and has been trained on ISO practices (ISO 9001:2008) for QMS (Quality Management System) by NCPL Inc.
