Lisette Liang

Lisette Liang, CPA has a strong background in tax management and consulting. Lisette began their career at Deloitte Tax LLP in 2008, where they served as a Tax Senior Consultant. During their time there, they reviewed and prepared various tax forms, including Form 5500 for retirement and benefit plans and Form 1040 for expatriate and inpatriate individuals. Lisette also played a key role in conducting firm-wide trainings on utilizing the company's Form 5500 tracking software. In 2011, they moved to Ernst & Young as a Tax Senior Consultant, where they reviewed tax forms and supervised tax provision preparation. Lisette joined Cousins Properties Incorporated in 2015 as a Tax Senior, and later advanced to the position of Tax Manager in 2018. During their tenure, they managed fixed asset software implementation and handled the integration and separation of fixed assets during a merger. Lisette also collaborated with external tax preparers to ensure accurate and timely tax return filing. Most recently, they joined Altisource in 2019 as a Tax Manager and quickly climbed the ranks to become a Senior Tax Manager and eventually the Tax Director.

Lisette Liang, CPA obtained a Master of Accountancy degree specialized in Tax from the Haslam College of Business at the University of Tennessee from 2007 to 2008. Prior to that, they completed their undergraduate education at Rhodes College from 2003 to 2007, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business & Economics with a minor in Chinese Language and Culture.
