Robert Amos

Robert Amos has extensive work experience in the field of information technology and infrastructure management. Robert currently holds the role of Director of Information Technology Operations at Altium Packaging since September 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Mohawk Industries as the Director of Infrastructure from January 2017 to September 2022, where they played a crucial role in the planning, acquisition, implementation, and operation of IT systems to support the company's business objectives. Before Mohawk Industries, they served as the Director of Infrastructure Systems at NuStar Energy Corporation from December 2002 to September 2016, overseeing daily operations and managing multiple data centers and regional offices. Robert also worked as the Senior Manager of Infrastructure Systems at NuStar Energy Corporation from April 2010 to December 2012. Amos has prior experience as a Project Manager for Information Systems at Valero Energy Corporation from July 2005 to April 2007, and as the General Manager of Infrastructure Systems at Kaneb from December 2002 to July 2005. Additionally, they held a position as a Project Manager for Control Systems and Network Infrastructure at Alon USA from August 2000 to December 2002, where they successfully led a project for customer credit monitoring, resulting in significant cost savings for the company.

Robert Amos attended New Mexico State University from 1988 to 1993, where they received a Bachelor's degree in Engineering Technology. Prior to that, from 1986 to 1988, they attended DeVry University and obtained an Associate's degree in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering. In 2021, they also obtained a certification in "Creating Your IT Strategy" from LinkedIn.
