Fred Grainger

Fred Grainger has a long history of work experience in the industrial and manufacturing sectors. Fred began their career in 1980 as a Senior Industrial Engineer and Project Manager for Packard Electric. In 1996, they became the Quality Manager for The Little Tikes Company. Two years later, they joined The Ormond Printing Company as Quality Manager and Production Services Manager. In 2001, they moved to Magna Donnelly as Operations Manager, where they were responsible for directing and implementing operational-level strategies and objectives. In 2007, they became Workshop Operations Manager for National Vehicle Distribution, with the goal of introducing Lean Manufacturing Practices and disciplines. In 2009, they set up their own business, Fred Grainger & Associates, to help companies implement cost-effective business improvement initiatives. Finally, in 2022, they joined Altix Consulting as a Strategic Partner, where they help small and middle-market industrial companies compete globally.

Fred Grainger completed a Diploma in Industrial Engineering from Rathmines College of Commerce between 1988 and 1990.
