ALTO Solution designs, structures the financing, oversees the construction and operates concentrated solar heat plants to decarbonize industrial processes between 100 and 500°C.

Heat accounts for nearly 50% of global energy consumption, most of it still fossil-based. Our answer: produce industrial heat directly on site, at a stable price, independent from global energy markets, without operational disruption.

Our model is service-based - Heat-as-a-Service. Industrial customers only pay for the heat actually delivered, at a price guaranteed over 20 to 25 years, through a Heat Purchase Agreement (HPA). No investment, no operating costs: ALTO bears the construction, performance and operational risks.

Our technology combines two innovations specific to ALTO which, together, reduce CAPEX by around 30%. Parabolic troughs made of concrete instead of metal: a local, robust, low-cost material that enables non-intrusive deployment (external foundations, no land sealing, fully dismantlable). Glass mirrors curved at ambient temperature instead of through hot-bending: superior optical quality and simpler industrialization, hence enhanced performance. Combined with thermal storage that requires no battery or rare earths, they ensure continuous delivery, independent of instantaneous solar irradiation.

For industrial customers: zero CAPEX, immediate Scope 1 decarbonization, stable price over 20-25 years, monetization of Energy Saving Certificates and EU ETS allowances, over 90% emissions reduction vs natural gas - a credible and financeable Net Zero trajectory.

Unit capacity from 1.5 to 30 MW. Target markets: France, Spain, Mediterranean basin, MENA, Latin America and high direct solar irradiation zones. Sectors: agri-food, chemicals, pulp and paper, textile, construction materials.
