Kate Rowe

Kate Rowe is an experienced professional with a robust background in laboratory assistance and customer service. Currently serving as a Student Laboratory Assistant at ALTRATECH LIMITED since April 2023, Kate previously worked as a Laboratory Demonstrator at the College of Science, Engineering and Food Science at UCC. In addition, Kate has hands-on experience in administrative roles within healthcare, having contributed to the Admissions Department at Bon Secours. Previous roles at Teva Pharmaceuticals as a Regulatory Compliance team member and various positions in retail and hospitality have equipped Kate with strong organizational, customer service, and compliance skills. Kate holds a Master’s degree in Biotechnology and a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry, both from University College Cork, complemented by a Leaving Certificate from St. Angela's Ursuline Secondary School.
