Niall Olden

Niall Olden is the Managing Partner of Kernel Capital, a venture capital firm based in Ireland that specializes in investments in innovative IP-rich companies. They have established Kernel Capital since 1999, raising €270 million from institutional investors and leading over 40 portfolio companies. Niall holds a M.Sc. in International Business from Trinity College Dublin and is a Chartered Management Accountant as well as a Fellow of the Irish Academy of Engineers. In addition to their role at Kernel Capital, they act as a Non-Executive Director for several companies, including Automated Intelligence and Causeway Sensors Limited. Currently, Niall continues to manage investments in 15 technology companies while also overseeing Kernel Strategic, a boutique M&A business established in 2023.
