Alison Barnes

Alison Barnes, MBA, PMP, currently serves as the Director of IS, Application Portfolio Management at Altria, a position held since April 2021, overseeing the management of the application support portfolio. Prior experience includes a tenure at Logexsoft from July 2006 to April 2021, where Alison progressed through multiple roles including Senior Manager, Director of Information Technology, IT Account Manager, Project Manager, Database Team Lead, and Database Developer. Earlier, Alison worked as a Programmer Analyst at Automated Financial Systems from October 2004 to July 2006, serving as the Lead Database Analyst and data modeler for the AFS Vision product line. Alison holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Management Information Systems from Virginia Tech and a Master of Business Administration from Virginia Commonwealth University.
