George Mathew

George Mathew has extensive experience in IT audit and compliance, currently serving as Associate IT Audit Manager at Altria since June 2019, where responsibilities include reviewing IT management's compliance methodology and evaluating security during audits. Prior to this, George held positions at Platform Specialty Products, including Director of IT Global Compliance and Global IT Compliance Manager, where significant contributions were made to IT SOX compliance auditing and process development. Earlier roles at Flowserve Corporation, Pitney Bowes, and Accume Partners involved managing audit teams, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. George began a career in the audit field at KPMG Peat Marwick, LLP, following a Master of Science in Accounting and Computer Science from Pace University.
