Mark King

Mark King is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in public policy and legislative affairs, currently serving as Senior Director of State Government Affairs at Altria since February 2013. In this role, Mark engages with various stakeholders, drafts advocacy materials, assesses legislative impacts, and represents Altria at political events. Prior to Altria, Mark worked for U.S. Senator Mike Johanns, managing legislative correspondence and advising on financial and judicial matters, and held positions with U.S. Senator Johnny Isakson and the Georgia Public Policy Foundation. Mark's career also includes a tenure at Deloitte, where achievements included handling significant asset management reconciliations and international client engagements. Mark holds a Master of Public Administration from The University of Georgia and a Bachelor of Science in Industrial and Systems Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
