Mike Ranson

Mike Ranson has extensive experience in baseball coaching and management, currently serving as a Scout for the Kansas City Royals since September 2015 and as the Owner of Mound 2 Plate, LLC since January 2021. Ranson has held various coaching positions including Pitching Coach and Recruiting Coordinator at Limestone College and the University of Delaware, as well as Pitching Coach/Recruiting at Furman University. Additionally, Ranson worked as a Sales Manager for Altria since September 2014, and was an Assistant Baseball Coach for the Forest City Owls from May 2009 to August 2010. Ranson holds a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership and Administration and a Bachelor's Degree in Sports Management, both from the University of Lynchburg.
