Teresa Downs

Teresa Downs is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in corporate law, currently serving as Vice President and Associate General Counsel at Altria since April 2011. Teresa has held various legal titles at Altria, including Senior Assistant General Counsel, Assistant General Counsel, and Senior Counsel. Prior to that, Teresa worked at Hunton & Williams, LLP from September 2007 to April 2011 as an Associate. Teresa earned a Juris Doctor degree from Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law in 2007 and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree with a double major in Public Policy Studies and Spanish Studies from Duke University, obtained in 2002.
