Brian Farthing

Brian Farthing has worked in the IT field for over 15 years. Brian began their career in 2005 as a Multiple role with Discover-e Legal. In 2008, they joined Gresham-Barlow School District as a Computer/Network Technician and Insight Schools as a MS SQL DBA & Analyst. In 2011, they joined IBM as a Data Warehouse Architect and Business Intelligence DBA. Most recently, they have been a Senior SQL Database Developer at AltSource, Inc since 2019.

Brian Farthing obtained their Associates of Applied Science in Computer Network Solutions from ITT Technical Institute-Portland in 2005. Brian then continued their studies at ITT Technical Institute-Portland and obtained their Bachelors of Applied Science in Information Systems Security in 2007. In addition, Brian Farthing has obtained three certifications; Big Data Foundations - Level 1 from IBM in July 2018, Big Data Foundations - Level 1 from IBM in July 2018, and IBM Agile Explorer from IBM in December 2017.
