Mikko Mäkelä

Mikko Mäkelä's most recent work experience is with Altum Technologies, where they started in February 2018 as a Software R&D Engineer and worked until September 2019. Mikko then progressed to the role of Chief Information Officer - R&D Engineer and worked until October 2020. Finally, they became the Chief Information and Technology Officer in October 2020, and their current role duration is ongoing.

Prior to working at Altum Technologies, Mikko Mäkelä was a Research Assistant at the University of Helsinki from June 2017 to September 2019.

Before joining the university, they gained customer service experience at Metsähallitus in July 2016, where they worked until September 2016.

Mikko Mäkelä obtained their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Theoretical and Mathematical Physics from the University of Helsinki, which they pursued from 2014 to 2017. Following this, they pursued a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Electronics and Industrial Physics from the same university, completing it from 2017 to 2020. Apart from their academic endeavors, Mikko also obtained a certification in "ESSENTIAL LEVEL 1 TELTONIKA NETWORKS TECHNICAL TRAINING" from Teltonika in October 2021.
