Hamish McBeath is currently the Chief Executive of Light Building Products (NZ/AU) at Fletcher Building, a position they have held since 2025. Previously, they served as Chief Executive of Building Products at Fletcher Building from 2019 to 2025 and held various managerial roles at Pacific Steel Group. Hamish was also a Board Member at the Building Industry Federation (NZ) from 2014 to 2017 and has experience as Chairman of Sims Pacific Metals Ltd from 2015 to 2018. They began their professional journey as a Navigation Officer in the Royal New Zealand Navy from 1995 to 2001. Hamish holds an MBA and a Post Graduate Diploma in Operations Management from the University of Auckland, in addition to completing an Advanced Mergers and Acquisitions Programme at Mount Eliza.
