Charvi Shetty

Co-Founder/CEO at Aluna

Charvi Shetty has a wealth of work experience, beginning in 2010 when they were a Graduate Student and Laboratory Researcher at UCSF. During this time, they analyzed DTI data on mTBI patients and controls to explore cortical and microstructural brain connectivity and demonstrated the first application of SVC to group DTI data to map white matter microstructural correlations. In 2012, they were a Fellow at the Summer Biodesign Immersion Experience, where they identified unmet clinical needs and worked in collaboration with the UCSF Pediatric Device Consortium and physicians in orthopedic surgery, physical medicine and rehabilitation, cardiac electrophysiology, and sports medicine from UC Davis and UC San Francisco. In 2013, they worked as a BMI CO-OP at Genentech, and in 2014 they became the Co-Founder/CEO of Aluna.

Charvi Shetty completed their Master's degree with Thesis in Biomedical Imaging from the University of California, San Francisco in 2013. Prior to that, they obtained their Bachelor's degree in Bioengineering from the University of California, Berkeley in 2012. In May 2012, they also obtained their Engineering Leadership Sequence certification from the Center for Entrepreneurship and Technology, UC Berkeley.
