As a Founding Engineer at Alvin since April 2021, Marcelo focuses on optimizing data warehouse workloads and enhancing data pipeline cost efficiency. Previously, Marcelo spent nearly a decade at CI&T, serving as a Principal Engineer where notable contributions included developing over 10 open-source connectors for Google Cloud and leading a significant project for a major Brazilian bank that involved creating a compiler solution to streamline business rule management. Marcelo's career also includes roles as a Software Architect and Software Engineer, showcasing expertise in agile methodologies, testing, and modern programming technologies. In the early career, Marcelo worked as a Scientific Researcher at Universidade FUMEC, contributing to research in computer programming and robotics. Marcelo holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Universidade Face Fumec, obtained in 2012.
