John Doherty

John Doherty is an accomplished professional with over 32 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Currently serving as the Vice President of Quality for Europe and the Rest of the World at Alvogen since August 2010, John oversees quality systems across multiple manufacturing plants and manages a team of over 100 staff across six locations. In addition, John is the principal consultant for Advanced Pharma International Ltd, providing GMP consulting and operations support. Previous roles include Quality Consultant at Actavis and VP and Head of Quality for Mylan covering Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. John holds an MBA from Brunel University and a BSc and PhD in Chemistry from the National University of Ireland, University College Dublin.
