John Hall serves as the Chief Digital Officer at alx_africa since November 2024 and is an adjunct faculty member at St. John Fisher University teaching Cybersecurity Law, Policy, and Management. Previously, John held the position of Chief Product and Technology Officer at The African Leadership University from August 2021 to October 2024, and served as External Education Vice President and CTO at Cornell University from November 2017 to August 2021. With a strong leadership background, John was CEO at Ontuitive from June 2007 to November 2017, and held roles including VP of Product Management and Senior Consultant within the same organization. John began a career in technology as a Software Developer at Element K from 2000 to 2004 and served as Document Manager & Workflow Administrator at MVP Health Care from May 2005 to June 2007. Academically, John holds a Master of Science in Cybersecurity and Data Privacy from Albany Law School and a Bachelor of Arts in History and Economics from Houghton University.
