Muhammad Ilyas

Muhammad Ilyas has worked in the IT and software development industry for over 22 years. Muhammad began their career in 1998 as a System Administrator and Software Developer for MegaTech Pvt. Ltd. where they designed, implemented and maintained company web sites, developed dynamic web sites for clients, and developed an online billing system. In 2000, they became a Project Manager and Software Engineer at Advanced Communications Pakistan, where they managed a Cold Fusion, ASP. NET, C#, and MSSQL/MySQL based developer team and developed web-based products including Advanced Portal and Advanced CRM. In 2005, they moved to SOFTEL FZ. L.L.C. as an Assistant Manager of Software Development IT & QA, where they built and managed a technical and developer team in Pakistan and visited and communicated with customers to gather and evaluate project requirements. In 2006, they became Director of Operations & IT, Manager of IT & Technical Operations, and Manager of Quality Assurance at AdvancedVoIP, where they integrated AdvancedVoIP Billing with mediaroutes.com soft switch to provide a SIP-based VoIP solution. In 2013, they joined AdvOSS as Director of Operations & IT, Senior Product & Project Manager, SQA Manager, and Tech. Account Manager, where they managed the AdvOSS main OSS/BSS/PCC product as a Product Manager and worked with development teams to enhance and develop features. In 2021, they became Director IT, Product Manager, Project Manager, and Tech. Account Manager at AizTek Technologies, where they managed and maintained different products and projects for Telecoms (MVNO) & VoIP Communication Systems, managed development and technical support and quality assurance teams, managed USA based customers, and worked closely with the development team to complete development related tasks. Muhammad is currently employed as a Product Manager and Project Manager at AlxTel, Inc. since 2022.

Muhammad Ilyas earned a Bachelor of Science in Applied Math, Pure Math, and Physics from the University of the Punjab in 1994-1995. Muhammad then went on to receive a Master of Computer Science from It Jobs updates in 1996-1998.
